Terms and Conditions
“7 Million Scanner Indonesia Social Media Campaign” (hereinafter referred to as “the
Campaign”) is organised by PFU Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “PFU Asia”). The administrator of this Campaign is PFU Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (being “the Organisers”). By entering this campaign you (“You” or “Participant”) accept and agree to the following terms and conditions (i) PFU Asia Privacy Policy “https://www.pfu.ricoh.com/papl/privacy/”; (ii) the following terms and conditions below together with any instructions on how to enter this Campaign; and (iii) Instagram Promotional Terms and Conditions ((i), (ii) and (iii) collectively being “Terms and Conditions”).
ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
- This Campaign starts on 1 March 2025 12:00 GMT+8 (Singapore time), and ends on 31 March 2025 23:59 GMT+8, and is open to all individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of 1 March 2025, and are citizens or permanent residents of Indonesia, only.
- The campaign posts will be published on PFU Asia Pacific Pte Ltd owned Instagram Page (https://www.instagram.com/ricohimagescannerasia/) progressively from 1 March 2025 to 31 March 2025.
- To enter, individuals must follow ricohimagescannerasia account, Like the post and tag 2 friends in the comment section.
- The Organisers will, at their sole discretion, randomly select one (1) entry through voting by PAPL Management. The Organisers’ decision shall be final and binding.
CAMPAIGN RULES
- The Organisers reserve the right to consider only one (1) entry from each participant. Submitting multiple entries will not increase the chances of winning the Campaign.
- The Organisers are entitled to reject and/or disqualify entries which they determine in their sole discretion to be fraudulent, incomplete, improper, inappropriate, offensive, late or obtained through automatic scripts, cookie deception, suspicious activity or from the same IP address, and those that are not in line with these Campaign Rules. The Organisers’ decision in relation to the foregoing shall be final.
- Employees of the Organisers, their affiliates, advertising/promotional agencies and their immediate families (parent, spouse, sibling, and child) and persons living in the households of such persons (whether related or not) are not eligible to enter the Campaign.
WHAT YOU STAND TO WIN
- The winner (“the Winner”) will be announced on the PFU Asia Pacific Pte Ltd owned Instagram Page (https://www.instagram.com/ricohimagescannerasia/) within one (1) month of the Campaign end date on 31 March 2025.
- The Winner will win one (1) Limited Edition ScanSnap iX1600 (“the Prize”), value at retail USD600 in the Campaign entry.
- The products for the Prize are subjected to change based on the products’ availability and compatibility with the Winner’s vehicle without prior notice. The Organisers reserve the right to substitute or replace the products for the Prize with that of a similar value without prior notice.
- The products for the Prize are non-exchangeable for cash, credit or in kind, whether in whole or in part.
- The Winner must provide their full name, a valid mobile number, email and delivery address, in order to receive the respective Prize. The Organisers will not be responsible if the wrong mobile number, email and delivery address have been provided.
- In the event that the Winner cannot be contacted from the details supplied or does not respond to the email for any reason whatsoever, then the respective Prize will be deemed forfeited, and the Organisers may award the respective Prize to the next eligible winner and/or dispose of the respective Prize in any manner they deem fit, at their sole discretion.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- All Participants are responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by them as a result of participation in the Campaign (including without limitation costs for accessing the Internet). Costs to enter the Campaign via the Internet may vary so please check with your local service provider for current charges.
- The Organisers will not be responsible for any fees or money incurred (e.g. product warranty etc.) beyond the mailing or sending of the Prize to the Winner. Any costs or obligations incurred by the Winner or any involved third party will have to be borne entirely at their own expense.
- The Organisers collect personal information in order to conduct the Campaign and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information.
- The Privacy Notice displayed at “https://www.pfu.ricoh.com/papl/privacy/” under “Privacy Policy” applies to any processing of data performed in connection herewith.
- Acceptance of any prize shall constitute the Winner’s consent to allow the use of the Winner’s name, image, biographical data and/or likeness by the Organisers, including and not limited to interviews and photo-taking, for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.
- By participating in the Campaign, you waive any right to claim ambiguity in these Terms and Conditions, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, release the Organisers and/or their agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from (i) this Campaign or the prize, (ii) your participation in the Campaign (including but not limited to any acceptance, possession, use, misuse, or nonuse of the prize by the winner), or (iii) the negligence of the Organisers. The Organisers shall not be held liable to any Participant/s, for any damages, claim, demand or compensation arising out of participation in the Campaign.
- The Organisers’ failure to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that or of any other provision. The Campaign is void where prohibited or restricted by law, and is subject to all applicable laws.
- Unless mandatory local law states otherwise, the Participant is responsible for any costs, taxes, duties or levies incurred as a result of participating in or winning the Campaign. In addition, the Participant agrees and accepts that by winning the Campaign, the Participant may incur taxes, duties or other levies including but not limited to any prize tax etc. under any applicable laws and regulations and the Participant unconditionally accepts to bear any such tax, duty or other levy.
- All parts of these Terms and Conditions shall apply to the maximum extent permitted by law. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be held to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, then such provision shall be replaced with terms that most closely match the intent of the parties and the remainder of these Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect. The section titles in these Terms and Conditions do not limit the other terms of this agreement.
- Any and all disputes regarding this Campaign, including without limitation, eligibility for the Campaign, Campaign results and the Prize, will be determined by the Organisers at their sole discretion, and such decisions shall be final and binding on Participants of the Campaign.
- The Organisers will be entitled at their sole discretion, to terminate or modify the Campaign or to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time prior to the closing date, by posting the revised Terms and Conditions on the website. Continued participation in the Campaign will constitute acceptance of the changes made by the Organisers. If a Participant does not agree with any such change, the Participant should stop participating in the Campaign. Participants agree that the Organisers shall not be liable to the Participant for any loss or damages arising as a result of any such change or discontinuation.
- The Terms and Conditions for this Campaign will be governed and construed according to the laws of Singapore. The courts in Singapore have jurisdiction in relation to any claim or action arising out of, or in connection with, the Terms and Conditions.
